Corina Macri is a leading voice of Banat hospitality, blending entrepreneurship, sector representation, and policy-making. Owner of Casa del Sole Hotel & Restaurant in Timișoara since 2004, she has turned operational excellence into a local benchmark for quality and regional flavors. As founding President of HoReTim (2018) and founding Vice President of FPIOR (2021), she has rallied the industry around shared priorities: workforce, standards, public–private dialogue, and national visibility. She serves on the boards of OMD “Visit Timișoara” and “Visit Timiș,” and in social-dialogue and consultative bodies—the County Employment Agency, the Pension and Health Funds, and CLDPS—connecting producers, HoReCa, education, and authorities.

As project manager of Culinaria Banatica for Timișoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture, she translated culinary heritage into impactful public programs. In 2023, together with the Timiș County Council and USVT, she introduced the European Region of Gastronomy (ERG) initiative, catalyzing early discussions on a potential candidacy. Her professional skills make her an ideal ambassador to carry Fusion Beyond Borders to business, the hospitality sector, and the public.
