A retired university professor, co-author of the Slovenian Gastronomy Strategy, the gastronomy strategies for Ljubljana and Central Slovenia, Gorenjska, and Dolenjska, co-author of projects for some successful brands in gastronomy. Author and co-author of more than 80 books, numerous discussions, articles, and popular works in the field of cuisine and gastronomy. Five of his books received Gourmand World Cookbook awards. He is a member of the group of IGCAT experts (Barcelona), Slovenia’s ambassador in the European Destination of Excellence network, and Conseiller Gastronomique at Chaîne des Rôtisseurs de Slovénie. He lectures and publishes articles in Slovenia and abroad.
