South Aegean: Gastronomy knowledge transfer across generations

 

With the aim to bring younger generations closer to local cuisine and regional gastronomic traditions, South Aegean, European Region of Gastronomy awarded 2019 hosted the event “Aegean mamas know best.” Organised in collaboration with the Cyclades and the Dodecanese Chefs’ Club and supported by South Aegean’s Ambassador, chef Argiro Barbarigou, the initiative was developed under the umbrella of the region’s Taste the Season programme.

The event gathered local families and top chefs and offered a hands-on experience engaging an audience of all ages with the main objective to share knowledge and good practices about traditional recipes and local produce. READ MORE
